KMBox Net setup guide

The KMBox Net is a network-based input device: the second PC sends aim commands to it over Ethernet, and it passes them on to the gaming PC as if they came from a normal mouse. Setup is a one-time job, but the cable order and the network settings have to be exact — follow the steps below in sequence.

Wiring and driver

1) Connect the KMBox's top-left port to the second PC and its bottom-left port to the gaming PC.

2) Download the KMBox Net driver package on the second PC and extract it.

3) Run WCHUSBNIC.EXE from the extracted folder.

4) Click the large INSTALL button. If the installer reports a failure, message us on Discord before going further.

5) Restart the second PC.

Network adapter settings

6) On the second PC open Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network and Sharing Center → Change adapter settings.

7) Locate the adapter that belongs to the KMBox Net and open its Properties. Not sure which one it is? Unplug the KMBox and watch which adapter disappears.

8) Untick Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).

9) Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) — leave it ticked — and click Properties.

10) Set a static address so the values match the screenshot below (IP address in the 192.168.2.x range, subnet mask 255.255.255.0), then confirm.

Connecting in the loader

11) Close Control Panel, start Fave DMA and open the Debug tab. Type in the IP, port and UUID shown on the KMBox Net's own screen — use your device's values, not the ones in our screenshot — and press Connect.

12) Use the Test move and Test click buttons at the top of the menu. If the cursor on the gaming PC does not react, restart both computers and try again; if it still does nothing, open a ticket in Discord and we will finish the setup with you.
