Fave DMA

Syncing your system clock

1 min read

When the Fave DMA loader signs in, it compares your second PC's clock with our servers. A clock that is more than a minute off — or a wrong time zone, even when the displayed time looks right — makes the login fail, and the resulting error often looks like a connection or DMA problem rather than what it is. Only the second PC needs to be correct; the gaming PC's clock is irrelevant.

Fix it from Windows settings

Video walkthrough coming soon

1) Right-click the clock in the taskbar and choose Adjust date and time.

2) Switch on both Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically.

3) Confirm the time zone shown really is where you live. A wrong zone with a correct-looking time is the most common cause of this problem.

4) Under Synchronize your clock, press Sync now. Windows updates the time within a few seconds.

Verify

Compare the taskbar clock with your phone — they should agree to the minute. Launch Fave DMA again; the error should be gone. If it is not, restart the second PC and try once more before opening a ticket in Discord.
